Using the EnterNet software with Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me)

 

EnterNet 300 v. 1.34 is not compatible with Windows Me. Before upgrading your Operating System to Windows Me, please verify the version of the EnterNet Software you are currently using is version 1.3 or 1.34. If you have EnterNet 300 versions 1.3 or 1.34 installed on your system, you must upgrade to EnterNet 300 version 1.5 Follow the procedure below to verify the version of your existing EnterNet 300 software and to download EnterNet 300 version 1.5.

 

How to check what version of the EnterNet 300 Software is Installed on Your System
  1. Open your EnterNet 300 Software
  2. Click on Help from the menu bar options at the top. Select About EnterNet 300
    3.

  3. A window will open displaying the version number of your software. Once you have verified your version number, click OK.

EnterNet 1.3 or 1.34 Users upgrading to Windows Me from Windows 95 or 98

When attempting to upgrade to Windows Me from Windows 95 or 98 with the EnterNet 300 versions 1.3 or 1.34 currently installed on your system, you will receive the following message



Before Upgrading to Windows Millennium Edition

    1. Download EnterNet 300 version 1.5 from the SBCIS web site. Refer to the chart below to obtain the latest EnterNet 300 software based on your region:

    Pacific Bell

    2. Once download is completed, uninstall your existing version of EnterNet 300:

    In Windows 95 or 98:

    Start > Programs > NTS EnterNet 300 > Uninstall EnterNet 300

    3. Once the uninstall is complete, install the EnterNet 300 version 1.5 on your system

4. Once the EnterNet 300 software has been updated, you may proceed with the Windows Me upgrade.
